Is there a low battery indicator?

Yes. A clear indicator is shown when the battery is low. You can unlock up to 200 times with a low battery.

What if the battery on my lock dies?

The lock will remain locked. You may unlock it with your fingerpint once you charge it again.

How long can the smartlock last without charge?

It can last up to 6 months on standby or for 1500 cycles (lock/unlock).

How many fingerprints can the smartlock hold?

10 fingerprints.

Can I remove fingerprints added previously?

Yes. This can be done infinitely.

Is there a guide for me to program or reprogram the smartlock?

Is my smartlock waterproof?

The smartlock has a waterproof rating of IP65 (click here for an explanation). While this rating indicates a high level of water protection, we recommend the use of the device in sheltered areas.

Is there a delivery option available?

Yes. Each delivery is subject to a $35TTD fee. NB: Due to the distance of some areas, the delivery method will be via TTPost.

Does the switch require a neutral wire?

No. It can work without the neutral but the connection is there if preferred.

Can I install the device myself?

If you are not trained or have no experience in performing electrical work, we strongly advise against it for your safety.

Does the SmartLight Switch use an app for control?

Yes. It uses either the Smart Life or Tuya app.

Can I operate the device remotely (away from home)?

Sure. Once the device remains connected to the 2Ghz connection, you can operate the switch while you are in any part of the world.

Can I use voice commands to turn off/on my Smart Light Switch

Yes. You can use Google Home, Alexa or Amazon Echo to send voice commands to your device.

If the Wifi is down can I operate the switch?

Yes. You can touch the gangs on the actual light switch for control but phone operation will not be possible.
